i just had a funny supermarket moment!
i bought a small selection of groceries including a few pre-packaged steaks and rissoles from the meat department . . . when i was at the register preparing to pay, the checkout boy scanned and bagged my meat products, and when he swung the meat bag out to the end of the bay for me to take the security sensor went off . . .
the checkout boy looked puzzled and his supervisor came over to assist . . .
the checkout boy demonstrated how when you passed the bag of meat in front on the sensor the alarm went off - see, its just meat
the supervisor said "About time! Damn meat thieves!"
i shared the boy's quizzical look . . .
she continued "I've been waiting for them to put security tags on the meat - you wouldnt believe the meat thieves we get in here!"
gee times are tough when you have to steal meat from the supermarket!
although i must admit, the more expensive cuts of meat are getting extremely dear!
i made this little collage to commererate the era of the Meat Theif!
