Deep Pencil - the musings of Morgan Bell

If a tree falls in the woods and nobody is there to hear it did it really make a sound? If i post a blog and nobody reads it was there really any point? You have entered the random thinking space of Morgan Bell . . . These are my musings . . . things about my life written off the top of my head . . . written in an informal disjointed style almost completely devoid of punctuation, this is where i flesh out writing ideas, discuss my life, and generally be self indulgent . . . it is also the bargain bin for articles which do not fit in with the film or arts themes of my other blogs . . . so have a wander around my mind, have a laugh, have a think, be nice, and humour me!

if i never see your face again . . .

sometimes duets are just SO good!

Rihanna and Maroon 5 have collaborated on "If I Never See Your Face Again" and they are hot together! HOT!

Rihanna and Adam Levine

ever the dominatrix, Ri completely emasculates the beautiful and gentle Adam Levine (lead singer of Maroon 5), her voice is the deeper and stronger of the two, her mannerisms are more confident, shes literally running circles around him . . . and then she steals his microphone haha . . . im loving the role reversal, very edgy!

Rihanna in the Maroon 5 music clip

i want to see both of their faces again!

TOGETHER!

what an awesome power couple they would make!

here they are live, looking and sounding just as good:

Rihanna and Adam Levine live

someone get the woman a whip!

Meh. I got to 1.56 on the first video. I reckon that was a pretty good effort.

But yeah, her voice makes his sound really whiny.

Hey, I think some of that post is directed at you matey. I love how I am suddenly a political extremist. I voted for Kevin Rudd for fuck's sakes!

But I did say Adam is pretty cute. That's all I can give you. Sorry.

Well, Ruby... You could always turn the tables; by doing just a small good deed like say, I don't know hmmm watching a little music video, perhaps i'de be inclined to give you Damo's details instead

You know, He's a Systems Engineer and is like way good at Power Point! THINK OF THE POSSIBILITIES RUBY- THEY'RE ENDLESS!

hi Raoul,
shes a gorgeous little creature isnt she!
such a big voice for such a little person!
i havent heard one way or the other about the boob job but i notice she wears alot of corsets and mini-dresses that highlight her legs and shoulders . . . some of them look like drag costumes!

Okay. Watched it. All of it.

Her outfit with the ruffles on the bum is silly.

And he should be wearing less clothes. Why do straight men get to have all the fun?

Rihanna looks tantalising... I don't think she's an exceptional singer, but with a face and body like that, I forget to care...

Oh my God, this woman is everywhere at the moment. Are they cloning her?

I heard that song maybe three times before I realised it was a duet. I just thought it was some girl singing. Shows a) how much the song did for me b) how little attention I obviously pay to things and c) how little I listen to commercial radio haha.

He's kind of cute but not hot. Although I can see why the lovely Raoul is drooling...

Her tits look impressive in the clip for SOS when she's wearing the green strapless dress.

But at the moment I've got the hots for Katy Perry, who has that whole Emily Blunt thing going on ... "I kissed a girl and I liked it, the taste of her cherry chapstick ..." yeaaaah, what a fucking catchy song piece of bubblegum pop that is!

hi Ruby,
haha we made you watch it!
he should have been nude and her in a tracksuit . . . a bit like the John and Yoko album cover!

hi epiphanie,
"tantalising"!
what a fantastic descriptive word!
glad you enjoyed it!

hi Cheryl,
yes theres a dozen Rihanna clones running around with a musical agenda, trying to take over the world via the music industry! haha
i lose track of the Top40 sometimes too, i think its because so many people just play what they like on their CDs or MySpace or iPods etc that the commercial radio isnt as important too us anymore

hi Raoul,
ill have to check out the SOS clip
id take Rihanna over Katy Perry anyday
you cant fake that kind of sassy!

thanks for the comments everyone!
