Deep Pencil - the musings of Morgan Bell

If a tree falls in the woods and nobody is there to hear it did it really make a sound? If i post a blog and nobody reads it was there really any point? You have entered the random thinking space of Morgan Bell . . . These are my musings . . . things about my life written off the top of my head . . . written in an informal disjointed style almost completely devoid of punctuation, this is where i flesh out writing ideas, discuss my life, and generally be self indulgent . . . it is also the bargain bin for articles which do not fit in with the film or arts themes of my other blogs . . . so have a wander around my mind, have a laugh, have a think, be nice, and humour me!

apparently i can now take 47,533 shots on my little mini camera, all thanks to the remarkable storage of my new memory card!

Very nice - what's the specs of your camera??
I am a bit camera mad and spent half a kidney on my last one but it can shoot photos for billboard size. And of course - I do like a billboard sized photo frame in my one bedroom apartment. LOL

Nice - Total 7.38 million pixels - that's pretty good - the higher the bigger - and make sure you always shoot your pics to the highest possible resolution - even if you only use them or print them at a small size they will always be detailed.

hi Jason,
well now that i can take over 3,000 pics on the highest setting i just might use it - i think you could only take like 4 without the memory card, theres not much storage on the device itself
thanks for the tips!

Wow, that is an impressive chip. Mine pales in comparison. It only gets 150 images. Although the only time I get close to needing that many is on a day where we go to the Zoo or something like that.

hi Gene,
yeah i cant really imagine a time i would need thousands of photos, im sure the battery would run out before the memory card filled up! haha

What kind of batteries does your camera take? Mine takes two triple A and we tried all different brands and they didn't last at all. The worst were Energizer. That little pink bunny lies! One set ran out in an hour of use.

We have settled on Duracell now. They last much longer, but still not exceptionally long.
