Deep Pencil - the musings of Morgan Bell

If a tree falls in the woods and nobody is there to hear it did it really make a sound? If i post a blog and nobody reads it was there really any point? You have entered the random thinking space of Morgan Bell . . . These are my musings . . . things about my life written off the top of my head . . . written in an informal disjointed style almost completely devoid of punctuation, this is where i flesh out writing ideas, discuss my life, and generally be self indulgent . . . it is also the bargain bin for articles which do not fit in with the film or arts themes of my other blogs . . . so have a wander around my mind, have a laugh, have a think, be nice, and humour me!

Nirvana Part 1

Even though the majority of you will already know a crap load about Nirvana, I thought I might as well do a series about one of my favourite bands ever. To begin with, we'll start with some of the band's most famous songs (mainly because I'm to lazy to actually write anything)

You Know Your Right (The band's last recorded song)

Aneurysm (A crowd favourite at concerts, written about ex-girlfriend and Bikini Kill member Tobi Vail)

Smells Like Teen Spirit (The band's most popular song)

The Man Who Sold The World ("I guarantee you I will screw this song up")

Pennyroyal Tea (A herbal method for abortion)

Heart-Shaped Box

Lithium

All Apologies (A song expressing Kurt's feelings of guilt for Courtney Love's Herion addiction)

no big deal guys but once again first peron to leave a comment...personally my favourite nirvana song would hav to be something in the way or territoral pissings maybe. its big call cause if u like one of there songs your pretty much gonna love all of there stuff

I think jass is great, i think he is good, i think he has an amazing perpective on life.
But that isnt the best thing about this individual, he is also pretty sexxy

yeh i love nirvana, my favourite songs right now would be drain you and school. 2 awesome songs that i cant get enough. keep up the posts im looking forward to a part 2 soon. luv pete

Ouch!! And so not true... Nirvana are timeless!

It's cliche but I have to admit Heart-Shaped Box is my favourite, more for the sentiment it represents to me than anything else!
