Deep Pencil - the musings of Morgan Bell

If a tree falls in the woods and nobody is there to hear it did it really make a sound? If i post a blog and nobody reads it was there really any point? You have entered the random thinking space of Morgan Bell . . . These are my musings . . . things about my life written off the top of my head . . . written in an informal disjointed style almost completely devoid of punctuation, this is where i flesh out writing ideas, discuss my life, and generally be self indulgent . . . it is also the bargain bin for articles which do not fit in with the film or arts themes of my other blogs . . . so have a wander around my mind, have a laugh, have a think, be nice, and humour me!

ode to Michelle Obama's wicked eybrows

im always on the search for really fantastic eyebrows . . . a uniquely manicured brow is a beautiful thing!

usually we have to turn to movie stars for the really special eyebrows (CLICKHERE for more . . . ) but lately i have been inspired from within the political realm!

She's just beautiful all around, don't you think?

Her eyebrows are severe enough to command attention, but the rest of her face is soft, so it balances out.

they are very triangular and pointy . . . they make a big statement . . . i love them! haha
if they did fly off her face i think they would make effective weapons, if we hear of a band of terrorists sliced and diced with a killer eyebrow we will know which super-hero politicians wife to look too first!

oh i definately agee, i think Michelle is a stunning woman, she has great style and natural beauty!

Political Certainty

I wouldn't dare to join this conversation! My wife and four daughters have taught me when to butt out of "girl stuff".

She is a powerful woman and I am looking forward to Ms Obama as First Lady. Back in the day, the far Right didn't allow us to have "two for the price of one" and the Bill-Hillary team got bogged down in alleged scandal and accusations. We have been given a chance to have, again, a team of two articulate, intelligent, socially-driven individuals.

Hope we don't blow the opportunity!

Hey Morgan,

I have to admit I am not a fan of her eyebrows... I think she would look so much nicer if she re-styled them... but I appreciate her contribution to the political landscape so her eyebrows are usually not the thing I focus on.
I'm glad other people like them, though - they're distinctive, I'll give her that! Hehehe.

They are some mighty fine eyebrows on a very lovely looking lady. they are power brows if ever I've seen a pair!

they probably wouldnt suit many people and i can understand why they arent everyones cup of tea!

I have noticed Michelle Obama's eyebrows from the beginning. One can only HOPE for a CHANGE in the shape of those penciled-in monsters! Surely, she will have a stylist during the coming weeks of the campaign. Please, Please, Please, Michelle, soften up the shape!!!!
