Deep Pencil - the musings of Morgan Bell

If a tree falls in the woods and nobody is there to hear it did it really make a sound? If i post a blog and nobody reads it was there really any point? You have entered the random thinking space of Morgan Bell . . . These are my musings . . . things about my life written off the top of my head . . . written in an informal disjointed style almost completely devoid of punctuation, this is where i flesh out writing ideas, discuss my life, and generally be self indulgent . . . it is also the bargain bin for articles which do not fit in with the film or arts themes of my other blogs . . . so have a wander around my mind, have a laugh, have a think, be nice, and humour me!

Steven first began modeling with an agent at thirteen.

Steven was officially 'discovered' by John Babin of Boss Models agency a few years later while working out in a gym. He was given Babin's card with a 'call me sometime'.

Steven placed the call and his career has begun to soar ever since.

Some of the magazines Steven has appeared in include L'Uomo Vogue, Spoon Magazine, Details, Surface Magazine and Pop Magazine. He is also highly sought after by top fashion photographers such as Herb Ritts, Dah Len, Peter Murdoch Ellen von Unwerth, and Bruce Weber. Weber featured Strait in his 2001 book, All-American: Short Stories. He has also modeled for Harleguin and Hollister advertisement campaigns.

It shows I am a bit out of touch. Hadn't set my eyes on him until now. I'll just have to check out the DVDs.

Yes I could watch the face, the hair, the bod, all of it lol.
As soon as I saw him in Sky High I knew he would go places.
While the Covenant kind of sucked it was worth the watch just for him and while 10,000BC sucked even worse I worried as he was kind of getting stuck doing sucky things but he still looked hot.
And PS: Damn hot straight guys and their hot women. Feel free to provide an article on available HOT GAY men purely awaiting for me. Haha.
Nice pics Morgan - I have a nice collection of him somewhere - will send them to you or add to the article when I find them if Vista did not nuke them.

hi Wilson,
it seems Sky High was the place he made his big impression!
thanks for stopping by!

hi Jason,
oh i know, i was looking at him thinking "far too hot to be hetero", but as the name suggests Steven Strait is straight! haha
i would love to see additional pics!

He certainly is a cutie pie but as I rated 10000 BC as possibly the worst film ever it's unfortunate that's the only thing I've seen him in. Very easy on the eye though.

hi Cheryl,
oh no, thats two bad reviews on that film (you and Jason), im starting to think it must be really bad!
perhaps i should just enjoy the movie stills and give the actual film a miss?
i dont think he has a bad singing voice, i guess thats always another avenue if hes only getting dud movie roles?
thanks for your comment!
