The first musing . . .

Im getting really into orble lately, its easy to post things so im posting more and more!
I used to use MySpace as my primary site for blogging but the formatting was difficult and it was hard to get readers or comments so i often wasnt motivated to post anything new. Its a bit like the old addage of if a tree falls in the woods and nobody is there to hear it did it really make a sound? If i post a blog and nobody reads it was there really any point?
My mission from my therapist and most writing experts is that if you want to be a writer then write every day, even if its just a page . . . a paragraph . . . or a sentence . . . good advice i say in my head but i suffer from the perfectionists paradox where i think if i cant be guarenteed that what i write will be any good for publication then whats the point of even starting? but then how can i ever know its any good or not if i dont put it on paper in the first place?
So this little blog "Musings" is just an excercise in self indulgence to get a few notes down, practise forming sentences and expressing ideas . . . but just the miscellaneous ideas of the humdrum of domestic life . . . this is the blog equivalent to a writers notebook . . . no research or pictures, just a lot of half-formed tidbits, random inspiration, and well probably a healthy dose of whinging about the bills and people i encounter.
A do carry an actual notebook with me that is brimming with ideas but i never seem to flesh them out . . . im somewhat of a deflated spirit lately, plagued with appointments, decisions, and red tape when all i really want to focus on is my writing.
Well thanks for reading this far . . . ill be back tomorrow!
