Deep Pencil - the musings of Morgan Bell

If a tree falls in the woods and nobody is there to hear it did it really make a sound? If i post a blog and nobody reads it was there really any point? You have entered the random thinking space of Morgan Bell . . . These are my musings . . . things about my life written off the top of my head . . . written in an informal disjointed style almost completely devoid of punctuation, this is where i flesh out writing ideas, discuss my life, and generally be self indulgent . . . it is also the bargain bin for articles which do not fit in with the film or arts themes of my other blogs . . . so have a wander around my mind, have a laugh, have a think, be nice, and humour me!

Robbie Jayy on BlogTV

robbiejayy- Broadcast your self LIVE

This is what I listen to late at night when I'm writing.

I find it incredibly relaxing.

He does covers of John Mayer and Taylor Swift and many other acoustic folk/blues including original songs.

Influences: John Mayer, Jason Mraz, Taylor Swift, Colbie Caillat, Gabe Bondoc, Jason Reeves

And you can talk to Robbie in between songs!

He wrote on his MySpace:

Hi everyone, I'm Robbie Jay, I'm 17 and I'm from London. I've loved music all my life and gone through all kinds of stages of different music that i've been into, I was brought up by my dad listening to Stevie Wonder, Eric Clapton, The Eagles and many more but that slowly changed as I grew up, I went through stages of loving all kinds of music but now I'm definately into the more acoustic, blues, folk and pop music and I like to think this shows in my own music. I have been making music for a little while now, once I could play a few chords on my guitar I was always making some kind of rhythm, even if it was going nowhere, haha. My ambition and my dream for so long now has been to break into music and get my material to you guys and I just hope that you all enjoy my music as much as I enjoy making it. Thanks, I'll check y'all later, peace. RJ

he played this brilliant song tonight that id never heard before, i just googled some of the lyrics and its a cover of John Mayer's "Daughters" and i have to say Robbie's version is about a thousand times better (yeah im not a big Mayer fan)

check him out if youre just mooching around on the net, hes a bit worried that noone is listening to him
